Kristia M. Beaubrun Editor-in-Chief Kristia Beaubrun has been a member of the Kingsman staff since September 2004. She began as a staff writer covering events for the news, features, and arts section. Eventually she would move on to become the Managing News Editor in January 2006 and is the current Editor-in-Chief.
Katherine Romero Managing News Editor Katherine Romero has been working as a staff writer for The Kingsman since Fall 2005. She started out writing for The Arts section: critiquing films and covering events and would later move on to become a news writer and is currently serving in her first semester as Managing News Editor.
Josh Guarino Managing Arts Editor Josh Guarino has been a staff member of the Kingsman since the spring of 2004. He has been Managing Arts Editor for the last three semesters. Away from the newspaper, Guarino is a major in the screenwriting program and minors in journalism and political science.
Associate Features Editor Janine Rizak, a Brooklyn College senior is currently serving in second semester as Associate Features Editor. She started writing for the Kingsman two years ago during her sophomore year. Rizak enjoys pina coladas but isn't too fond of dancing in the rain. She manages what is perhaps the most diverse section of the Kingsman - Features, with its incredibly wide spectrum of stories
Patrick Hickey, Jr. Associate Sports Editor Patrick Hickey, Jr. was recently named the paper's new Sports Editor after only one semester at the school. He also writes for a local newspaper and several online sports publications, where he covers the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Mets and other professional teams.
Webmaster & Copy Editor Michael A. Harris, a part-time student at Brooklyn College, has been a staff writer since joining the Kingsman in the Spring of 2006. Now in his third semester with the paper, Harris serves as copy editor for the newspaper, a capacity in which he reviews all articles for grammar and syntax and writes headlines for stories. Harris also designed and maintains the Kingsman's new website. .
Advisor Paul Moses, professor of journalism at Brooklyn College, has been the Kingsman's faculty advisor since 2001. His role is to offer advice and suggestions to the staff - but he notes that the paper is entirely student-run. Before joining the faculty at Brooklyn College, he worked as a reporter and editor at Newsday. |
